CINCINNATI — Denver Broncos star edge defender Nik Bonitto had strong praise for Joe Burrow during an appearance on the Pick A Side Podcast.

Bonitto thinks the Bengals star is the most underrated quarterback in the NFL thanks to his football I.Q. down-to-down.

“Every time that the ball was hiked, like the ball’s already getting out, and he knew where he wanted to go,” Bonitto said.”It was always on the money. So when we talk about a guy that’s just able to be smart and manipulate the pocket like he does, it was a tough go for us, bro, like he was harder to sack and get together than like any other quarterback just because if he sees you going high he’s gonna escape through the B-Gap, and he’s gonna find a receiver or he’s just gonna run.”

Burrow is coming off his best NFL season, leading the league in passing yards (4,918) and touchdowns (43).

He took out Bonitto’s Broncos 30-24 across an overtime win in December where he threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns. Check out the star defender’s full comments below:
