BREAKING : 🔥 Shocking Prediction! Will the Chiefs Land This Ohio State Star in the First Round? 🤯🏈

Chiefs predicted to add Ohio State star with first-round pick image

The Kansas City Chiefs got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. They could look to add an impact defensive starter with their first-round pick.

The Chiefs lost some key players this offseason and will need to find contributing players in the draft. FanSided’s Lou Scataglia predicted the Chiefs would draft defensive tackle Tyleik Williams from Ohio State University with the No.31 overall pick.

“Chris Jones is getting up there in age, and this is simply an extremely valuable position for any team to take in the first round,” wrote Scataglia. “Beyond the DT, guard, and tackle spots, the Chiefs could also use noticeable help at running back, wide receiver, and even tight end. Kansas City, in my opinion, does not have nearly as good of a roster as some think. They get too reliant on Patrick Mahomes at times, so GM Brett Veach really has to hit this draft class out of the park in 2025.”

Williams is an elite run defender and can make himself impactful in the pass rush as well. Last season he had 2.5 sacks and 46 tackles. He has 28 tackles for a loss in his college career. Williams can be a good player to pair with Jones and could eventually carve out a bigger role as Jones gets older.

Last season Jones was a First-Team All-Pro, but had just 5.0 sacks. He was often facing double teams and adding a big body like Williams to the mix could make his job a little bit easier.
