As the Dallas Cowboys face off against the Philadelphia Eagles this week, we know the status of Dak Prescott, he will not play. The team has yet to decide if he will go to injured reserve while he recovers from his severe hamstring injury. If Dallas hopes to upset the Eagles, they need some of their stars to be healthy. Here’s the Cowboys’ injury situation after their second day of practice this week.

Still on the active roster, Prescott was absent from practice as a DNP. Zack Martin did not practice for a second consecutive day with a shoulder injury. Daron Bland (foot) also did not practice Thursday. Meanwhile, as they were yesterday, CeeDee Lamb (shoulder), Micah Parsons (ankle), Tyler Guyton (neck), and Trevon Diggs (calf) were limited. Lamb did tell reporters that he is feeling much better. Safety Juanyeh Thomas did not practice today as he still managing concussion symptoms. Eric Kendricks was upgraded to limited from yesterday.

For Philadelphia, Nolan Smith (groin) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday after sitting out yesterday and were listed as limited. Smith’s injury is somewhat curious since he was able to finish last week’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, whereas A.J. Brown (knee) didn’t but practiced today and yesterday, and practiced in full . Still, Smith’s return is a positive for the Eagles’ offense. Also full participants were edge rusher Josh Sweat (hip) and Mekhi Becton (ankle). After being limited to rest yesterday, Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts were full participants for practice. Lastly, Dallas Goedert was a full participant again Thursday in his return from a hamstring injury.
