Bengals’ Joe Burrow Reveals ‘Plea’ on Spanish Rumor

The vibes had quickly turned around for the Cincinnati Bengals. After signing receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to monster four-year deals, the fanbase is happy and quarterback Joe Burrow is satisfied, knowing his top targets are locked in for the long haul.

It will be expensive, and it might have consequences, but the Bengals did right by their most important player.

If nothing else, Cincinnati will be fun to watch in 2025. Frequently, that will come on prime-time television; it might come as part of the NFL’s international expedition.

The Miami Dolphins will host the Bengals in 2025, it’s only a matter of where. The Dolphins were selected to host the NFL’s first game in Spain, opening Cincinnati up for a trip abroad.

On his Instagram story, Burrow revealed his take on a potential Bengals international game.

“Bengals v. Dolphins in Madrid?” he posted. “Please be true.”

It isn’t immediately clear whether the league’s first game in Spain will be a London-style Sunday morning game or a standalone prime-time game, like the NFL’s historic Friday game in Brazil, where the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo.

Regardless, the Miami faithful are excited, and Burrow’s post has Cincinnati fans intrigued, too.

“We are thrilled to play the NFL’s inaugural game in Spain, a country of rich history, tradition and passion and home to a vibrant Dolphins fanbase,” Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel said. “There is a hunger for football in this market, and we are proud to join with the NFL in growing the game internationally while engaging with old and new fans alike. With the unique synergy between Miami and Madrid, we believe this is only the beginning for us in this incredible region and we look forward to bringing the excitement and community of Dolphins football to Spain in 2025 and beyond.”

There are some minor concerns about the short stick of an international game, weighing a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the rest and travel issues that come with crossing an ocean during the NFL season.

Burrow, though, is all-in, and he would be bringing his two star receivers with him should the Bengals get the call.
