ONE of Kansas City’s heroes from the Super Bowl victory last year has found himself a new team.
It comes a week after he was let go by the Chiefs as part of their roster overhaul.

Mecole Hardman, 27, has agreed a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers.
He is a three-time Super Bowl champion having spent most of his career with the Chiefs.
Hardman was a second round NFL Draft pick in 2019.
He was on the Chiefs from 2019 to 2022 before leaving for the New York Jets.
But the spell with the Jets was brief and he was back on the Chiefs in 2023.
The defining play of his career was catching the winning pass from Patrick Mahomes in a Super Bowl.
Hardman held onto Mahomes’ overtime pass to beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
The play sealed a second straight title for the Chiefs with victory at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He played 12 times during the 2024 season, catching just 12 passes for 90 yards with no touchdowns.
His only touchdown in 2024 came on a running play against the 49ers in October.
Hardman is also a kick return specialist.
In his rookie year in 2019 he was named to the Pro Bowl as a kick returner.
He joins a receiver group in Green Bay that includes Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks.
Kansas City has been busy reshaping it’s roster for a run at another Super Bowl.
The team saw their hopes of a historic three-peat dashed by the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown has signed a new contract to stay with the team.
But DeAndre Hopkins left to join the Baltimore Ravens.
Hopkins caught a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl loss to Philadelphia last month.
The Chiefs added Elijah Mitchell to their backfield.
He joins Isiah Pacheco and the returning Kareem Hunt in the running game.
