CINCINNATI — Trey Hendrickson and his representation are reportedly back negotiating with the Bengals on a new deal. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted the team “may be on the verge” of signing all three of this offseason’s key stars.
“This year, unlike last year, [Hendrickson] received permission to seek a trade, and no doubt his agent has talked to some teams Tom,” Rapoport said on the The Insiders. “But as you mentioned late last night, the Bengals have now engaged with Tee Higgins on a new deal as well. Could they possibly lock up all of these guys, considering the amount of cash it might take, I would say yes. Yes, they could. The Bengals have done a lot right over the course of the last several days and weeks, may be on the verge of doing it again.”

Hendrickson is one of the most durable, productive pass rushers in the NFL and was close to winning his first Defensive Player of the Year award this past season. The 30-year-old has notched 35 sacks over the past two seasons and played 1,565 defensive snaps over that period. He has one year remaining on his Bengals contract.
Cincinnati has reportedly been negotiating with Hendrickson for multiple days.
Cincinnati just agreed to deals with Ja’Marr Chase and Higgins entering the week to seal up the offensive identity for years to come.
