We have known for a while this was coming, but on Wednesday, the Detroit Lions officially announced that they are moving on from LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin.

Kindle Vildor joins the Buccaneers defense on a one-year deal after spending the 2024 season with the Detroit Lions.

The Bucs made one of the first free agency moves of the day on Thursday morning by signing former Lions cornerback Kindle Vildor to a one-year deal, per NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Vildor is entering his sixth NFL season after entering the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick of the Chicago Bears back in 2020. He played three seasons there before embarking on stints with the Titans, Eagles, and Lions during the 2023 season. Vildor settled in with the Lions, most recently playing the entire season with the team in 2024.

In five professional seasons, Vildor has career totals of 124 combined tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, 15 pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble.

While playing collegiately at Georgia Southern University, Vildor was named the Sun Belt Player of the Year and a Second-Team All-American in 2018. He had six interceptions and 17 pass breakups during his final two seasons at GSU.
