The Green Bay Packers made two big moves on Monday, agreeing to sign guard Aaron Banks and cornerback Nate Hobbs. On Tuesday and Wednesday, though, no new moves. And that’s been pretty much Brian Gutekunst’s modus operandi as a general manager.
In free agency, he goes big or goes home. After the first wave, he waits for the mid-level class to sign, and then might make some more moves for something close to the minimum.

Charles Omenihu is the best fit for what they tend to look for. But if the price is right, players like Azeez Ojulari or Dante Fowler could be added. Za’Darius Smith would be intriguing, but his relationship with the leaders on the Packers make a reunion very unlikely.
