The Kansas City Chiefs are already making moves this offseason after their 40-22 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9.
With free agency set to begin on March 12, teams have the opportunity to re-sign their own players before they become available to the open market.
On Saturday, the Chiefs did that, welcoming Marquise “Hollywood” Brown back for another season.
“Wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is re-signing with the Chiefs on a one-year deal worth up to $11 million, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Saturday, per sources,” Michael Baca of NFL.com announced.
Following the announcement, Brown shared a three-word message for fans on social media.
“Back For Everything ,” he posted.

This move came one day after fellow Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested on felony domestic violence charges.
Brown was with the Chiefs last season on a one-year contract but only appeared in five games, three of which came in the playoffs. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound wideout suffered a shoulder injury in the preseason which held him out until Week 16.
In those five games, Brown recorded 14 receptions, 141 yards and no touchdowns.
Brown, a first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2019 NFL draft, has spent six seasons in the league. He played his first three years with the Ravens before spending the following two with the Arizona Cardinals.
His best season came in 2021 when he had 91 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.
After the 2025 NFL season, the former Oklahoma Sooner will have amassed $30 million in career earnings.
