Detroit Lions NFL free agency signings tracker: Who’s in, who’s out so far

The Detroit Lions have a lot of work to do in 2025 NFL free agency, and we’ll be keeping track of every single one of their moves, including when a player signs elsewhere.

If the Lions sign a player or someone moves on, we’ll update the tracker with the latest information.

Free agency begins at noon Monday with the legal negotiating window. The new league year officially starts Wednesday at 4 p.m., when contracts for players agreeing with new teams and trades can become official.

Here is the latest news on Lions signings and depatures:

DE Marcus Davenport re-signs with Lions

Davenport is coming back on a one-year contract for at least few million less than he signed for a year ago. He tore his triceps and only played in two games with the Lions in 2024.

LB Ezekiel Turner re-signs with Lions

Turner, signed by the Lions in November, will return on a one-year contract. He filled in when the injuries piled up on defense and played on special teams.

LB Derrick Barnes re-signs with Lions

Barnes, a starting outside linebacker, will return on a three-year, $25.5 million with $16 million guaranteed. He tore the MCL and PCL in his right knee in Week 3 and missed the rest of the 2024 season.
