The Chiefs have begun their offensive reinvention.

With the trade of offensive lineman and overall hero Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears on Wednesday, the Chiefs started the ushering in of a new era on offense as the team gets younger across the board. The move comes in concert with the application of the franchise tag on Trey Smith, giving the Chiefs a new foundation going forward in the trenches.
