Heading into the NFL offseason, the Green Bay Packers have been linked to quite a few big names. At the wide receiver position, there is one name that has stuck out among the rest as a potential target.

Davante Adams is expected to be available this offseason. A reunion with him would make a lot of sense for a Packers’ offense that has been needing more help.

While Adams would make a lot of sense for Green Bay, there are plenty of other teams to keep an eye on. He could also simply try to follow Aaron Rodgers to wherever he chooses to play. However, the Packers are a team that he has been very open about and has talked about quite a bit.

With the offseason underway, the Green Bay Packers are once again being linked to a reunion with Adams.

Garrett Podell of CBS Sports has named the Packers as one of the top potential landing spots for Adams this offseason. He thinks that Adams could make a huge presence for the team with his play on the field, but could also help develop the young wide receiver talent already on Green Bay’s roster.

“This move makes a lot of sense. The Packers young receivers can learn a thing or two from one of the NFL’s most precise route runners, and Love gets a go-to target in crucial third-down and red zone situations.”

Fans would love to see Adams back on the Packers. He was a major fan favorite during his first tenure with the team and would pick up where he left off if he had a second.

At 32 years old, Adams proved once again in 2024 that he is still more than capable of making a major impact.

Throughout the course of the season split between the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders, Adams played in 14 games. He caught 85 passes for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.

Those numbers would help take Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers’ offense up a notch. Love would have a true No. 1 target, which would take a lot of pressure off of him.

Expect to continue hearing connections between the Packers and Adams. A reunion would make sense for both parties if the option becomes realistic this offseason.
