Brittany, who is expecting her third child with Patrick early next year, is reportedly planning a significant decision regarding their baby’s life. A source has revealed the Mahomes are considering naming their good friends as godparents. An insider has described the Chiefs pair as “brothers,” mirroring their on-field partnership in a genuine off-field friendship.

This bond has fostered a “superb” relationship between Taylor and Brittany, making the decision to appoint the new baby’s godparents a no-brainer. The source suggests that Swift and Kelce are the Mahomes’ “first choice”, not only due to their tight-knit friendship but also their “solid relationship” and robust family values.

A source told The US Sun: “Patrick and Brittany love to spend time with Travis and Taylor. They see them as the best people to be the godfather and godmother of the next child.”

The insider also revealed that Kelce and Swift are already a hit with the Mahomes’ little ones, Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon III, 1. “The kids love Travis and call him Uncle Travis,” the source continued. “Taylor is already considered their auntie, too.
