BREAKING NEWS : Maxx Crosby Shares Strong Response to Major Cowboys News

Maxx Crosby Shares Strong Response to Zack Martin Retirement News - Athlon Sports

The Dallas Cowboys are having a trying offseason. It started with them deciding against re-signing head coach Mike McCarthy and they were widely panned for replacing him with Brian Schottenheimer. That’s not the only tough news they’ve had to deal with.

It was revealed on Friday that star offensive guard Zack Martin has decided to retire from the NFL. He was been one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL for a decade and continued to be one of the Cowboys’ best players in 2024

Now that he’s gone, Dallas is losing arguably their best offensive lineman and an important voice in the locker room.

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby has played against many of the top offensive linemen in the NFL throughout his career. He had a lot of praise for Martin following the news of his retirement.

“Ultimate Competitor. Loved Going To War Against You, First Ballot HOF. Enjoy Retirement Brother,” Crosby wrote on X.

As Crosby alluded to, Martin will likely be a Hall of Famer when he’s eligible in five years. For the Cowboys, he’s going to be a very difficult player to replace. He’s one of the best offensive guards of the last decade and Dallas was already dealing with offensive line problems.
