Over a year and a half into dating, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ready to put a ring on it. Us Weekly reports that while Kelce and Swift are not engaged yet, those close to them would not be surprised if the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposes soon.

‘Those close to them actually think [Travis may do it] while they’re on vacation,’ one source said. That insider revealed that the couple plans to travel during their current downtime. (Swift finished her Eras Tour in December, while Kelce just wrapped up his NFL season at the Super Bowl.)

‘Taylor wants to go to multiple places in Europe and somewhere tropical,’ the source said.

A second source added that Kelce and Swift feel ready to move forward in their relationship. ‘They are both on the same page about taking the next step,’ that insider said.

The first source explained that the couple is ‘madly in love’ and very happy to have this time to lay low. ‘There’s no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work,’ the insider said. ‘It’s going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns.’

The second source revealed that Swift and Kelce plan to spend a few months in Kansas City, Missouri, where Kelce is based. ‘They both want to rest and decompress,’ the insider said. ‘Neither of them have huge commitments coming up.’

The timeline on their engagement depends in part on whether Kelce chooses to retire or play another season with the Chiefs, the first source said. After the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, Kelce is ‘reconsidering what he wants moving forward. He may come back next season.’

Us Weekly last reported on Kelce and Swift’s engagement plans in early December. At that point, a source said that Swift and Kelce would ‘love to be engaged [but] aren’t rushing it.’

A second source added, ‘Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style. That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.’
