Dan Campbell’s kneecap-biting Detroit Lions are certainly having a real impact on their opponents this season.

The Minnesota Vikings lost on Thursday night to the Los Angeles Rams, falling by the final of 30-20. The defeat by Minnesota came just four days after they also lost to the Lions last Sunday.

Adam Schefter of ESPN pointed out a hard-to-believe pattern involving the Lions. Opponents who have played the Lions this season are now 0-5 the very next week after doing so. Take a look below at the full track record.

Detroit is now 5-1 on the season with their only loss coming from a narrow 20-16 rock-fight defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. The Lions currently have the most potent offense in the NFC (averaging a conference-high 411.8 yards per game), and they also have a stellar defense, led by a front seven that is allowing less than 95 rushing yards per game.

Earlier this week, we also saw another insane stat about how historically dominant the Lions have been to start the 2024 season. They are definitely not a breeze for opponents to face, and the win-loss numbers back that up.
