While it may seem unrealistic that the Cincinnati Bengals would make a massive trade like this, it is one they NEED to pursue.

Micah Parsons has consistently raved about Joe Burrow and the Bengals on his podcast so we know that he likely would be interested in playing with the Bengals, and Cincinnati is totally in need of a pass rusher opposite of Trey Hendrickson.

Micah Parsons Potential Trade to Cincinnati?

Dallas Cowboys would ship Micah Parsons to Bengals in blockbuster trade proposal

Parsons would be going against the typical mold of pass rushers that Cincinnati has had recently of the bigger body mold like Sam Hubbard. Parsons’s ability to be dropped into coverage, rush from all over the line would be a breath of fresh air on the defensive line. The biggest critique of Micah has also been his conditioning and at times not always being in the field, but the Bengals really don’t need Micah to be a 3-down player. The depth of guys like Joseph Ossai and Myles Murphy could be crucial for the run-stopping mold, and Parsons could dominate as a rusher.

Example of a Trade Proposal

Khalil Mack was traded for two 1st round picks, a 3rd and a 6th.

Another example was the Vikings traded star Jared Allen for a 1st rounder and two 3rd rounders.

To make this deal work the Bengals would likely trade this year’s 1st & 3rd and a 2nd/4th in the 2026 NFL Draft.

When you think about the 2025 1st round pick for the Bengals that’s elite capital, but in reality it’s a mid-1st who you’d select an edge rusher/defensive tackle and there isn’t a SUREFIRE stud like you’re getting with Parsons.

On the Cowboys side, they should do everything it takes to pay Micah, but if you’re able to get serious value from him, it could help the team down the road. They could draft an EDGE with the 1st round pick acquired and the other picks are still valuable assets while saving money from not paying him a massive contract.

Once again, this may seem unrealistic for the Bengals to make such a trade, but in a potential Super Bowl window with Joe Burrow and a rough recent history of drafting defensive talent, take the front office out of the equation and go trade for Parsons.
