The event that may be a turning point in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship is incredibly well documented and is largely carried out in the public eye, but they could be in for a first now that the Super Bowl is over.

Kelce was on the losing side for the first time in three years as the Kansa City Chiefs were beaten 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, and now he has some downtime before preparations for the new season begin.

As for Swift, she was at Caesars Superdome to see Kelce in action and she could actually have the chance to spend that downtime with him for the first time, as she is no longer doing her Eras Tour which took up her time for the past two years.

The pair are expected to appear on a red carpet together for the first time in their relationship, with the Met Gala likely to be the event in question.

Their schedules have never aligned well enough for the major events, with Kelce unable to attend the Grammy’s recently as the Chiefs were in training for the Super Bowl.

A source told People that the couple are looking forward to enjoying some quiet time together now their work commitments have eased. The source said: “Their lives have been a whirlwind since they first started dating. Things seem great between them, and they’re incredibly happy together.”

Could Travis Kelce retire?

It should be remembered that Kelce and Swift could actually have even more time together soon if Kelce decides to call time on his NFL career following the Super Bowl defeat.

He told the New Heights podcast listeners and his brother Jason Kelce: “I know everybody wants to know whether I’m playing next year and, right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road.

“I’m kicking every can I can down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions. I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years I’ve played more football than anybody.”
