The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22, capping off the season with an 18-3 record.

During Philadelphia’s postseason run, they defeated the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs.

After the win for the Eagles, the NFL’s official social media account posted a video of Philadelphia’s postgame celebration.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts narrated the NFL’s post, sharing his thoughts on the journey of winning a Super Bowl in Philadelphia.

“It’s more so about the journey and less about the results,” Hurts said. “Obviously, we’re going to be judged for results, but that’s for everyone else to talk about. The journey is what builds us and makes us who we are. When you play a team sport like we play, so many things are built, and so many lives are changed, all from the energy and efforts that are put into it. To be able to bring a championship back to Philadelphia means everything.”

Upon the release of the video, the NFL’s official social media account reiterated the message from Hurts.

“The journey is the reward,” posted the NFL.

Following a phenomenal game for the Eagles, Hurts was awarded the Super Bowl MVP. He finished the game with two touchdowns and 221 yards, completing 17-of-22 pass attempts.

Hurts also served as the Eagles’ leading rusher, posting one touchdown and 72 yards on the ground.
