BREAKING: Donald Trump rally in Green Bay to feature former Packers QB Brett Favre

Trump to host rally with Brett Favre in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Former President Donald Trump’s scheduled rally in Green Bay will feature a Packers legend.

In a press release, the Trump/Vance campaign announced that former Packers QB Brett Favre will be a special guest speaker at the rally on Wednesday, October 30.

No specific time for Favre to speak has been announced.

The rally is set for the Resch Center. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. and the former President will speak at 6:00 p.m.

Wisconsin Democratic Coordinated Campaign Rapid Response Director Kristi Johnston released the following statement in response to Donald Trump’s upcoming trip to Green Bay:

“Wisconsinites know that Trump threatens the stability and security of hardworking families to serve himself, and that’s why earlier today Green Bay’s Republican state Senator Robert Cowles joined other Republicans, independents, and Democrats to endorse Vice President Harris. A second Trump term would rip away our rights and freedoms and raise costs by nearly $4,000 a year on middle-class families – that’s not what voters here are looking for. It’s time for a new way forward.”

Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to hold a rally in Madison on that Wednesday as well. It’s scheduled to take place on the UW-Madison campus from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature musical guests like Mumford & Sons and Gracie Abrams.

Wisconsin is one of a small number of battleground states where the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump could go either way. That has resulted in massive spending by both sides in the state, encouragement to vote early, and numerous visits from the candidates and their surrogates.
