The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles with a near clean injury report, aside from one notable name at wide receiver.
On Friday, the Chiefs revealed that two-time Super Bowl champion and 54th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Skyy Moore, is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game due to an abdomen injury.
Moore has shown flashes of playmaking ability in his first two seasons with the team. However, after struggling with injuries and falling down the depth chart this season, his role has diminished significantly, even though his talent remains evident.

Moore has only appeared in six games this season after being placed on injured reserve. He has totaled just three targets all year and has yet to catch a pass, which now seems unlikely to change before the season ends.
This marks a stark contrast to his production over the previous two seasons, where he received over 35 targets and hauled in 20-plus receptions in each campaign. Since being drafted, Moore has accumulated 494 receiving yards. However, he did make a notable impact in Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles, catching a touchdown in the Chiefs’ thrilling 38-35 victory.
Despite his limited impact this season, Moore’s injury does not seem to be a major concern for the Chiefs’ overall game plan. He remains the only name on the injury report who holds a doubtful, questionable, or probable label.
As for the Eagles, Friday’s injury report has not yet been released, but on Thursday, every player on the roster practiced in some capacity. Two names that have garnered attention are Jalen Carter and Brandon Graham, but both are trending positively and are expected to play in Sunday night’s showdown.
