The Kansas City Chiefs have one face of the franchise. With all due respect to that tight end who’s dating that pop star girl, Patrick Mahomes IS the Chiefs.
Mahomes is also the Red Raiders, several years after leaving school for the NFL Draft and Kansas City.

It’s Super Bowl week and once again, Mahomes and the Chiefs are involved as they attempt to be the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls.
With all eyes on Mahomes and the Chiefs, former Red Raiders and college football coach Tommy Tuberville went on The Megyn Kelly Show to discuss Mahomes.
“As a coach, you start recruiting and working with players years before they get to college. Patrick Mahomes was one of the best players I ever had the opportunity to recruit and get to know,” Tuberville said.
But the weird thing is, Mahomes did not corroborate his story. In fact, the former Red Raiders quarterback didn’t remember ever meeting Tuberville.

“He did not recruit me at the time. I don’t remember if I ever got to meet him or not,” Mahomes told the Philadelphia Enquirer-.
Tuberville did coach the Red Raiders but left the program to coach at Cincinnati a full five months before Mahomes committed to Texas Tech.
Mahomes credits his coach at the time, Kliff Kingsbury, with his recruitment.
