The Green Bay Packers could part ways with Jaire Alexander this offseason, and the team could get something in return if they decide to trade him rather than cut him outright.

The Bleacher Report scouting department recently broke down several hypothetical deals among 32 NFL teams, which include a blockbuster deal that would see the star cornerback and a 2026 sixth-round pick to go to the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Green Bay Packers taking the No. 88 overall pick of this summer’s NFL Draft.

“There’s a decent amount of risk that comes with acquiring Alexander, but the Jags are in a position where they might need to take some risks. They have enough cap space to get aggressive, and they have to make up some ground on the Texans within the division. If Alexander can return to form this trade would be a bargain,” Bleacher Report wrote.

“Campanile only spent one season in Green Bay, but he should have some insight into whether Alexander can return to form. That relationship could potentially push this deal over the edge and give them a starting corner duo of Alexander and Tyson Campbell next season,” they added.

Jaire Alexander had an underwhelming 2024 campaign with the Green Bay Packers

Jaire Alexander has only played seven games for the second straight season, mainly due to injuries. The two-time Pro Bowler notched only 16 total tackles, one fumble recovery, and two interceptions.

If he doesn’t return to 100 percent fitness, don’t be surprised if the Green Bay Packers cut Alexander loose since he commands a $16.15 million salary in 2025.

If this happens, Green Bay could look into the free agent market or the draft for his replacement.
