Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance in the Indianapolis leg of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour.” The three-time Super Bowl champ was spotted at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday as he showed his unwavering support to his girlfriend of over one year.
Kelce made the trip to Indiana despite the Kansas City Chiefs having a game scheduled on Monday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This speaks volumes of how the four-time All-Pro tight end is willing to go the extra mile to spend time with Swift.
The fact of the matter, however, is that Kelce is expected to miss a major career milestone for Swift. This happens on Dec. 8 when the “Fortnight” singer performs in the final show of her year-and-a-half-long, five-continent “Eras Tour” at BC Palace in Vancouver, Canada.
Kelce will be in action on the field on the same day as the Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for their Week 14 showdown.
Swift’s final “Eras” show will be an undeniably massive milestone for the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter as she closes a chapter in her career. All her hard work over the past couple of years will finally see its conclusion in what is likely to be an emotional final concert for the 34-year-old.
It would have been nice to have her potential soon-to-be husband by her side during that special occasion, but unfortunately, Kelce has his own commitments, too. It’s going to be a massive game for the two-time defending champions Chiefs as well as they face off against Justin Herbert and their AFC West rivals.
The silver lining here, though, is that once Swift’s tour finally comes to an end, she will likely have more time in her hands to support Kelce for the remainder of the regular season, as well as what the Chiefs are hoping will be another extended playoff run toward their third consecutive Super Bowl title.
