Highlights and notable moments from the Detroit Lions players at the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl.

Once again, I watched the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl so you didn’t have you.

On Sunday, the Pro Bowl Games concluded with a game of flag football interrupted by a few more skills competitions. Seeing as the Detroit Lions had six players in attendance, there is a lot to break down from the event down in Orlando, Florida.

Jared Goff wins Offensive MVP

Goff kicked off the flag football game as the NFC’s starting quarterback, and immediately led the team to three scoring drives. Per the broadcast, Goff finished with 126 yards and three touchdowns. That was good enough for Goff to come away as the event’s Offensive MVP, as the NFC won 76-63.

Goff also won the precision passing event on Thursday, so it was a nice, fun weekend for the Lions quarterback. Here are a couple of his touchdown passes:

Jahmyr Gibbs picks up an impressive interception

Toward the end of the game, players started switching up positions, and that included Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs playing at cornerback. On a two-point pass intended for Marvin Mims Jr., Gibbs elevated and snagged it. He probably would’ve returned it for a score had half the AFC team not come off the sidelines to stop him:

Brian Branch gets a pick of his own

Branch did a nice job representing the Lions secondary, even if the NFL leader in interceptions was not invited to the game. Branch picked off Joe Burrow on a short pass intended for Joe Mixon.

Lions OL help lead NFC to event wins

Taylor Decker was a participant in the Pro Bowl tug-of-war event, and he helped lead his team to victory.

Center Frank Ragnow was part of a six-player relay race, with him and Tristan Wirfs responsible for flipping oversized tires. The duo beat the AFC duo (Rashawn Slater, Tyler Linderbaum) to give their team the lead they needed to win the race.

Jack Fox barely loses his event

Jack Fox was the punter representative for the NFC, and he went against Jaguars punter Logan Cooke in an accuracy battle. In short, both punters had a few racks of footballs and had to try and boot as many footballs as they could into six trashcans arranged in a triangle about 30 yards away—almost like an NBA three-point competition.

Fox and Cooke tied, then tied again in overtime. But Cooke came away with the sudden-death victory.
