BREAKING: Drake Maye shows off dad bod while on vacation in Cancun with his girlfriend

Vacation mode has set in for the Patriots quarterback.

There is a joke floating around the internet among sports fans that if you’re in the NFL and your team does not make the cut to make the playoffs, then your team is headed to Cancun, Mexico.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye capped off his rookie season with just that.

As news stories continue to pour in about the Patriots hiring Mike Vrable poor in, and how the new head coach and former Patriot-linebacker looks forward to building a team around Maye and all of his talents, the former UNC quarterback is resting up a bit after year one as QB1 for the Pats.

Drake Maye

Maye has been enjoying the off-season in Cancun with his girlfriend, Ann Michael Hudson, and he’s sporting a ‘dad bod.’

Maye is not a father yet, but he sure is rocking the look.

The beaches of Cancun look like the perfect place to get away from what has been a rigid first year in the NFL. None of the Patriots failures in 2024 have led to a finger being pointed at their rookie quarterback.

Many believe Maye would be in the Rookie of the Year conversation if there were a team around him that could help him improve as a player and improve the Patriots’ record this year.

Going 4-13 indeed is cause for a nice sunny vacation from the cold in a New England January, but with a bod like that, many wonder if Maye should hit the weights this off season.

Let’s not shame the Patriots quarterback though, Tom Brady just recently began posting ‘thirst trap posts’ on his social media where he has clearly been toning up. Brady spent years rocking a look like Maye has in the photo above.

The 2024 No.3 overall pick finished his rookie year with 2,276 yards, 15 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a QBR of 58.8.

If Maye is the franchise’s future up in New England, and with a coaching regime change in the works, he can only get better in 2025, dad-bod and all.
