Retired NFL player Beau Allen opened up about his memorable encounter with Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Houston Texans.
The former defensive tackle shared that Kelce personally invited him to attend the Saturday game, which he gladly accepted.
“Kels called me up, and … he’s like, ‘You’re coming to this game. Don’t make me regret this,'” the 33-year-old revealed on the “Green Light with Chris Long” podcast on Monday.
Aside from the intense playoff showdown between the two teams, Allen revealed the surprising interaction he had with the couple.
Allen shared that the Chiefs tight end gifted him the designer jacket he wore prior to the game, thanks to the pop star’s influence.
“I complimented Travis on his jacket,” he shared, adding, “He just [expletive] gave it to me, so – it’s pretty slick.”
The one-time Super Bowl champion hesitated initially, unsure it would fit, but the Grammy winner urged him to try it on and see for himself.
“Taylor’s like, ‘Yeah, it’ll definitely fit. Put it on,'” he recalled Swift saying.
Kelce then responded, telling Allen, “If it fits you, you can have it. I’m never gonna wear it again,” which left the former NFL player surprised.
Sure enough, the jacket fit him perfectly, just as the music sensation had predicted.
As mentioned, the clothing piece was part of Kelce’s pregame outfit. At the time, he was spotted arriving at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium wearing the pink suede button-down leather shirt from Bottega Veneta, priced at $11,900.
The veteran tight end paired it with a simple white t-shirt and 1996 D-Sire 0pgah relaxed jeans from Diesel.
To complete the outfit, he went for a coordinated look and wore a $96 rainbow Supreme knit beanie and pink boots from Timberland’s collaboration with Supreme.
