Taylor Swift left retired NFL player Beau Allen stunned by her sweetness after the two watched the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Along with other familiar faces spotted at the matchup, including Caitlin Clark, Brooke Shields, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s parents-all supporting the team during the divisional round game-the former defensive tackle made his way to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium after being personally invited by the veteran tight end.
During his guest appearance on the “Green Light with Chris Long” podcast, Allen told hosts Chris Long and former teammate Macon Gunter that Kelce had called him specifically to extend the invitation.
“He said, ‘You’re coming to this game. Don’t make me regret this,'” Allen recalled, adding that he immediately agreed.
When one of the hosts wondered if he met the pop star during the game, the Super Bowl LII champion said he did and described Swift as a “cool” person.
“She led with a compliment,” Allen continued, referring to the “Bad Blood” hitmaker’s comment about how she thought that he was “funny.”
At the time, the 33-year-old Allen said it was an unexpected compliment from the singer, recalling, “I was just like, ‘Oh, wow, I really wasn’t expecting a compliment from you. Like, thank you.'”
Other than his encounter with the pop star during the Chiefs-Texans game, Allen was among the attendees of the “Eras Tour” in Miami.
