Lions vs. Packers injury report: 6 ruled out, 1 doubtful, 4 questionable for Week 9 image

The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers released their final injury reports of the week on Friday ahead of their Week 9 game at Lambeau Field on Sunday and four players were ruled out, three are doubtful and another four are questionable in total between the two teams.

An already short-handed Lions pass-rush, which is without Aidan Hutchinson and Marcus Davenport, won’t have Josh Paschal for a second straight game. Detroit is also missing backup linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez.

Defensive lineman Brodric Martin had his 21-day window opened this week, but the Lions will have to wait at least another week for Martin’s 2024 debut, as he has been ruled out, also.

There was some concern early in the week about quarterback Jared Goff, who had suffered an ankle injury last week. However, after not practicing on Wednesday, Goff turned in two full practices to close out the week and carries no designation.

The Packers have some major question marks on both sides of the ball. Cornerback Jaire Alexander is questionable to play after not logging a single practice all week. Running back Josh Jacobs and quarterback Jordan Love are questionable, as well. Both players only turned in limited sessions at practice before drawing the tag.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Love is expected to play in Week 9. In the even Love can’t go, backup quarterback Malik Willis will get the nod in his stead. Rookie running back Emanuel Wilson figures to take the bulk of the work if Jacobs doesn’t suit up.

Now, a look at the full final injury reports for both teams ahead of Sunday.
