BREAKING NEWS : 5 assistant coaches reportedly not returning to Patriots in 2025

The New England Patriots will be making some serious coaching staff changes for the 2025 season.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported a slew of assistant coaches who won’t be returning to the team in 2025, including tight ends coach Bob Bicknell, running backs coach Taylor Embree, wide receivers coach Tyler Hughes, coaching assistant Keith Jones and assistant wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood

The news came after it was reported that director of skill development Joe Kim wouldn’t be returning. It was also reported that executive vice president of football business Robyn Glaser would not return for the 2025 season.

The personnel makeover continues for the Patriots, as newly-hired coach Mike Vrabel establishes his staff on and off the field.

More moves are expected in this ongoing shake-up within the organization. Perhaps it’s needed for a team that has missed the playoffs for three straight seasons, while also finishing with one of the worst records in the league in back-to-back years.
