The Cincinnati Bengals’ quest for their first home win continues against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9.

After four losses at Paycor Stadium so far this season, the Bengals have announced several roster changes.

The team parted with veteran defensive tackle Lawrence Guy, who arrived as a free agent and started two of his four appearances with Cincinnati this season.

The roster shuffle also saw rookie running back Kendall Milton promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.

Additionally, offensive tackle Devin Cochran and wide receiver Kendric Pryor received standard elevations from the practice squad, with both players likely to return to the practice squad following the contest.

Despite a 37-17 setback against the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 8, the Bengals’ playoff hopes remain very much alive.

At 3-5, the Bengals find themselves just one win behind the Los Angeles Chargers for the final wild-card position in the AFC.

The matchup against Las Vegas presents a critical opportunity Cincinnati cannot afford to squander.

The Raiders, largely focused on their offseason plans, possess some defensive talent capable of creating challenges.

However, their current struggles make them a favorable matchup for an opponent with playoff aspirations.

For the Bengals, a victory could mark a turning point in their pursuit of postseason contention.
