Tee Higgins injury update: Bengals’ WR back in after big hit

The first quarter of “Sunday Night Football” against the Los Angeles Chargers ended in scary fashion for the Cincinnati Bengals as Tee Higgins was in the blue medical tent.

Cincinnati’s receiver took a brutal hit to the back from Chargers’ linebacker Denzel Perryman, which left him laying on the field and assisted off of it with medical personnel.

Here’s the latest on Higgins.

Tee Higgins, Bengals WR, injures back vs Chargers, returns to Sunday Night  Football game

Higgins exited briefly, but only missed a few plays before re-entering the game on Sunday night. The Bengals did not disclose what the actual injury is, but it will be worth monitoring going forward.

After missing the last three games with a quad injury, Higgins made his return in what has been an injury riddled season for him before hitting free agency in the offseason.
