FanDuel TV\u2019s Kay Adams had an exclusive interview with New York Jets receiver Davante Adams on Friday, which might be of particular interest to Green Bay Packers fans. The Packers and Adams, obviously, have a history, as Adams reached second all-time on Green Bay\u2019s receptions and receiving touchdowns leaderboards before being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason of 2022.<\/p>\n

Since leaving the Packers, though, Adams\u2019 career hasn\u2019t panned out quite like he probably had hoped. The Raiders struggled, despite Adams still playing at a high level, and he was eventually traded to the New York Jets last season to reunite him with another former Green Bay star, Aaron Rodgers. After finishing 5-12 on the year, it\u2019s clear the Jets\u2019 experiment did not work, though.<\/p>\n

Now, Adams will command a $35.6 million base salary in 2025, a number New York is unlikely to pay. It wouldn\u2019t be a shock to see Adams become a cap casualty, which would allow him to hit free agency for the first time in his career.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, Kay Adams asked Davante Adams whether or not he would consider returning to a team that he previously played for, particularly one that rhymed with \u201csmackers\u201d and was in the playoffs this weekend.<\/p>\n

The receiver responded, \u201cYou know, you can\u2019t rule anything out. I\u2019ve got a lot of love for all the organizations I\u2019ve played for, so I wouldn\u2019t rule out anybody. I mean that.\u201d Adams added, \u201cThe Packers are a great team, and if they felt like that was a possibility for me,\u201d before stopping himself and noting, \u201cand like I said I\u2019m still with the Jets so I can\u2019t be talking about going to other teams.\u201d<\/p>\n
