Even with a playoff bye week in hand, Andy Reid<\/strong> and his squad are staying busy behind the scenes, making moves to strengthen their roster. When you\u2019re in a league like the NFL, there\u2019s no such thing as a day off. The question is, what\u2019s brewing in Kansas City? No matter the situation, the Chiefs aren\u2019t slowing down, even during their bye week. So, let us spill <\/em>the tea for you.<\/p>\n The Chiefs made a few moves this week, starting by releasing LB Blake Lynch. Then, Andy Reid\u2019s squad quickly re-signed WR Montrell Washington ahead of the divisional game, and now they\u2019ve added two more players to the roster. It looks like Brett Veach<\/strong> is making some serious moves with the championship just around the corner. Veach has added free agents Shaun Bradley<\/strong> and Jason Taylor<\/strong> to the Chiefs\u2019 roster.<\/p>\n Bradley, 27 years old, previously had brief stints with the Eagles<\/strong> and Texans<\/strong> (Injuries have mostly hampered his career). This is Jason Taylor II<\/em>, the Oklahoma State guy the Chiefs have been eyeing for a while now. The 25-year-old\u2019s NFL career hasn\u2019t taken off yet. Taylor was drafted in 2023, and in the two years since, he\u2019s changed teams twice\u2014first with the Rams, and then with the Cardinals, where he spent some time on their practice squad.<\/p>\n As the Chiefs make moves to boost their roster, they also might be at risk of losing some key staff members.<\/p>\n As the Chiefs add new faces to their roster, there\u2019s also a bit of a storm brewing on the other side, the risk of losing key coaching staff. While they\u2019ve been making moves to bolster the team, Andy Reid might have to deal with some big departures soon. The Jets, who are rebuilding their team from scratch, have interviewed Matt Nagy<\/strong> for their head coach position. If he leaves, the Chiefs will have to look for a new offensive coordinator. Woody Johnson\u2019s team has also interviewed Mike Borgonzi<\/strong> for their general manager role. With so many head coaches getting fired, all the teams are on the hunt to fill their positions. And it\u2019s not just the Jets the Chiefs have to worry about losing their coaching staff too. The New Orleans Saints have also shown interest in Matt Nagy. So, if Nagy decides to part ways with the Chiefs, who\u2019s going to run the offense?
