At this point last year, we all but knew that the Chicago Bears would be taking QB Caleb Williams<\/strong> with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. At this point this year, we know very little. We\u2019ve heard that the Tennessee Titans \u201clove\u201d QB Cam Ward but they just fired their general manager days after that rumor leaked.<\/p>\n

With the second overall pick, the Cleveland Browns must wait for what the Titans do at the top unless they make the expensive trade to get the first overall pick. The Browns also have to comb through offensive coordinator options to help settle into the transition back to HC Kevin Stefanski\u2019s system.<\/p>\n

That means anything we hear, whether rumors or reports, at this point can be taken with a grain a salt. It is a heftier grain of salt when a report with the experience of Diana Russini says it:<\/p>\n
