<\/p>\nTo finish off the 2024 NFL season, Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 38-0, securing the No. 7 seed in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

With the AFC’s No. 1 seed already secured, the Kansas City Chiefs really had no reason to play their starters. This allowed coach Andy Reid to rest significant plays like quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones.<\/p>\n
Broncos QB Bo Nix was able to dominate the Chiefs’ backups through the beginning of the fourth quarter, allowing secondary quarterback Jarrett Stidham to get some reps.<\/p>\n
Toward the end of the third quarter, with the Broncos up 31-0 and playing their starters against the Kansas City reserve squad, CBS made the decision to change the broadcast to the other AFC West battle between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers.<\/p>\n
Still, fans didn’t see much excitement as the Chargers took complete control of the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n
But many NFL fans remained upset with CBS’s switch, with some wanting to watch the best team in the league, while others loved seeing a 15-1 Chiefs team get blown out. They left their thoughts on social media.<\/p>\n
