The Kansas City Chiefs surely are as they have secured the No. 1 seed after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-10 on Christmas Day. … meaning they now get 25 days of rest and prep time before they make their playoff debut in an attempt to win a third straight Super Bowl.<\/p>\n
The numbers are monumental, in many ways. Kansas City moved to 15-1 on the season to set a new franchise record … and speaking of records, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continues to set them.<\/p>\n
After his work against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium that had him recording eight catches for 84 yards and a touchdown to make him one of the three most productive tight ends in NFL history, he deserves a break.<\/p>\n
And he deserves to spend it, of course, with superstat girlfriend Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n
Ms. Swift did not attend the Chiefs’ final game of 2024 due to road game security concerns … something nobody will have to worry about in the playoffs as all games leading to the Super Bowl will be played at Arrowhead.<\/p>\n

But in this case, instead of Swift coming to Travis, Kelce went to Taylor, following up the win by jetting up to New York City to party just a little bit.<\/p>\n
And before coming home to to Kansas City to get back to work? The future Hall of Famer sent a message that is very on-brand for where he is in his life.<\/p>\n
Yes, Kelce wants to send you a message on New Year’s Eve. He did so.<\/p>\n
But also … Kelce has a movie to promote!<\/p>\n
So … Kelce used social media and shared the trailer for “Happy Gilmore 2,” in which he is featured alongside star Adam Sandler, as he wrote, “It’s great to see you back in 2025, Mr. Gilmore! Wishing everyone a HAPPY New Year with HAPPY GILMORE 2, coming to @netflix in the new year.”<\/p>\n
OK, so it’s more of an informercial. But still …<\/p>\n
Kelce and Swift, both 35, are now reportedly starting to think even more seriously about one another. Her record-breaking Eras concert tour is over and she’s setting up housekeeping in Nashville to be closer to the Chiefs star, who is based in KC … until his inevitable retirement, anyway.<\/p>\n
