The Kansas City Chiefs (13-1) hold a two-game lead for the No. 1 seed in the AFC with three games remaining in the regular season. The Chiefs made a roster move on Friday that should strike fear in the league before the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Kansas City has been dealing with injury issues all over the roster the season. No position has been affected more than at wide receiver. Marquise Brown hasn\u2019t played a regular season after suffering a shoulder injury in the preseason. Rashee Rice suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 4.<\/span><\/p>\n
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a scary moment in Sunday\u2019s 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns. Mahomes suffered a mild high-ankle sprain. It\u2019s unclear if the Chiefs will play against the Houston Texans (9-5) on Sunday, but he was taken off the injury report on Thursday. (However, head coach Andy Reid wouldn\u2019t commit to pushing Mahomes to start with the recent injury, as Kansas City is playing 11 games in three days.)<\/p>\n

On Friday, the Chiefs activated Brown to the 53-man roster, per a post on X.<\/span><\/p>\n
