Detroit Lions cornerback Khalil Dorsey suffered a horrifying leg injury on Sunday afternoon that required him to be carted off the field.<\/p>\n

Dorsey was on the field as the Buffalo Bills were in the red zone and trying to score when they ran a pass play.<\/p>\n

While Dorsey was in coverage, he ran into teammate Ezekiel Turner and appeared to snap his leg in the process.<\/p>\n

Dorsey was down for a while – requiring the CBS broadcast to go to two commercial breaks – as both sidelines emptied to gather around him.<\/p>\n

Eventually, he was carted off the field while his leg was in an air cast as all of Ford Field applauded him.<\/p>\n

The Lions have officially ruled Dorsey out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n
