Things on the field have been a nightmare for the Cincinnati Bengals so far this season. Cincinnati defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, but the win only improved the franchise to 5-8 on the year, although it allowed the Bengals to hold onto their slim playoff hopes.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, things off the field didn\u2019t go nearly as well on Monday night, per one Cincinnati-based journalist.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was playing Monday Night Football, I have confirmed police were called to his Cincinnati area home for a report of a break-in,\u201d reported Karin Johnson.<\/p>\n

Johnson followed up with reports of the call\u2019s details.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow\u2019s house. She is staying there. He\u2019s at the football game. She\u2019s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should go outside,\u201d the caller said, per Johnson.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat woman\u2019s daughter also called 911 and said, \u2018Someone broke into my house \u2026 It\u2019s like completely messed up,\u2019\u201d Johnson reported.<\/p>\n

Burrow talked about the event\u2019s effect on him to the media later in the week.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share so that\u2019s all I got to say about that<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s part of it. We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy. And that has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it\u2019s the life that we choose. Doesn\u2019t make it any easier to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n
