Patrick and Brittany Mahomes headed out for a romantic date night at the\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs star’s 1587 steakhouse on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

Brittany shared pictures of the pair dressed up and looking smart for their big night, although she joked that her lacy red dress caused a bit of a problem for her\u00a0Super Bowl<\/span>\u00a0winning husband.<\/p>\n

‘Patrick really loved having to button all these buttons for me,’ she wrote on a separate post showing off the other side of her outfit.<\/p>\n

Their night out comes as close friends\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0have been making headlines on their trip across the pond to London this week.<\/p>\n

The couple were enjoying a night without their three young children – Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3 and Golden\u00a0Raye<\/span>, 1 – but they will no doubt be celebrating Mother’s Day together on Sunday.<\/p>\n

It comes after Brittany revealed this week\u00a0that she has been struggling for over a year<\/span>\u00a0with a medical condition commonly known as ‘Mother’s Wrist’, caused by repetitive lifting and hormonal changes.<\/p>\n

Brittany joked that her outfit caused Patrick some problems when they were getting ready<\/p>\n

She explained that after struggling with wrist pain during a workout, she finally got assessed by a doctor.<\/p>\n

‘To find out I have this… been battling it for probably around a year now thinking it will just get better,’ Mahomes, 30, wrote on social media.<\/p>\n

‘Well it never did and started to get pretty bad… so now,’ she added, before continuing her message in a separate post that revealed she has to wear a wrist brace: ‘I get to wear this cool thing.’<\/p>\n

According to the Mayo Clinic, the issue that is also known as De Quervain tenosynovitis ‘is\u00a0a painful condition that affects the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist.’<\/p>\n

It comes amid her husband Patrick’s ongoing battle to be healthy enough\u00a0for the start of the 2026 NFL season after tearing his ACL last December.<\/p>\n

Mahomes has shown promising progress and the Chiefs are optimistic that come September, the three-time Super Bowl winner will be in a promising position.<\/p>\n

NFL reporter James Palmer of Bleacher Report said on Thursday that the quarterback is ‘ahead of schedule in a lot of people’s minds.<\/p>\n

‘This is all pointing towards him playing in Week 1. I think it really is, from everybody I’ve talked to. It’s not going to be rushed. There’s still a lot of time between now and then, but that’s where\u00a0things seem right now.’<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is on the comeback trail after tearing his ACL last season<\/p>\n

The Chiefs failed to make the playoffs last season but have reloaded emphatically in the offseason.<\/p>\n

They swooped for Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker – the former Seattle Seahawks running back was a free agent after February’s victory against New England Patriots.<\/p>\n

Defensive tackle\u00a0Khyiris Tonga and safety Aholi Gilman were also added in free agency and they drafted cornerback\u00a0Mansoor Delane and defensive tackle Peter Woods in the first round last month.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, in an undoubtedly popular move for both Patrick and Brittany, their close friend Kelce, who part-owns 1587 alongside Mahomes, also signed a\u00a0one-year extension to keep playing, too.<\/p>\n
