One of the Packers\u2018 most consistent offensive linemen could be primed to cash in on the open market.<\/p>\n

Green Bay\u2019s offensive line has been a bit of a revolving door over the past several seasons, but Rasheed Walker emerged as a high-end starting tackle this past season, and could be about to become one of the highest-paid players at his position across the league once free agency begins.<\/p>\n

Over at CBS Sports, NFL analyst Garrett Podell put together a list of the free agents most likely to cash in this offseason, with Walker listed as one of the premier tackles potentially available.<\/p>\n

\u201cRasheed Walker\u00a0is durable, playing in all 17 games in each of the last three seasons,\u201d Podell writes. \u201cAnd he started all but three of them for the\u00a0Green Bay Packers. Walker\u2019s 55.9% pass block win rate ranked 15th in the NFL among offensive tackles in 2025, according to TruMedia. A durable left tackle in the middle of his 20s, who is an average pass blocker, is going to get paid. Offensive tackle is one of the hardest position groups to find consistency around the league these days, and that will get Walker paid well this offseason.\u201d<\/p>\n

Durability and dominance are a potent combination at offensive tackle, and Walker has shown that he\u2019s capable of both.<\/p>\n

Last season, according to Pro Football Focus, Walker allowed five sacks but just one quarterback hit, and was one of the outlet\u2019s highest-graded run blockers across the league.<\/p>\n

The Packers have some difficult decisions to make, currently projected to be upwards of $1.5 million over the cap, but if Green Bay can create some spending flexibility, retaining Walker could be a priority.
