The Detroit Lions were back on the practice field Thursday as they prepare for Sunday\u2019s Week 18 matchup with the Chicago Bears, and their\u00a0injury report\u00a0remains fluid \u2014 with several situations Bears fans should be tracking closely.<\/p>\n

Detroit is still dealing with uncertainty up front. Penei Sewell missed his second straight practice with an ankle injury, which at least opens the door to questions about his availability, even if he\u2019s played through similar situations earlier this season. Interior lineman Trystan Colon also missed practice again with a lingering wrist injury, and defensive tackle Alim McNeill remains sidelined after exiting early in Week 17. If McNeill can\u2019t go, it would leave a noticeable gap in the middle of Detroit\u2019s defensive front.<\/p>\n

Amon-Ra St. Brown\u00a0returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Wednesday, saying he feels \u201cgood enough to go\u201d despite being banged up. His status will likely hinge on how he responds on Friday. Left tackle Taylor Decker practiced again as he works through a shoulder issue and illness, while Christian Mahogany and Kayode Awosika appear to be past the illnesses that had them on the report earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

On defense, linebacker Alex Anzalone and safety Thomas Harper both returned to practice as they progress through concussion protocol, though neither is guaranteed to be available yet. Defensive back Avonte Maddox upgraded to full participation, putting him on track to potentially return after missing last week.<\/p>\n
