{"id":40440,"date":"2025-12-25T11:55:23","date_gmt":"2025-12-25T11:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breakingnews.azontree.com\/?p=40440"},"modified":"2025-12-25T11:55:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T11:55:23","slug":"nfl-2025-regular-season-power-rankings-as-chiefs-and-dallas-flop-in-shock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breakingnews.azontree.com\/?p=40440","title":{"rendered":"NFL 2025 regular season power rankings as Chiefs and Dallas flop in shock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQadtjRF0VZ6s3YAHILZenqZhFgBqS-7WYhXQ&amp;s\" alt=\"NFL 2025 regular season power rankings as Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas  Cowboys flop in huge\" \/><\/p>\n<p>THE clock is about to run out on the 2025 NFL season, and things certainly didn\u2019t go as expected.<\/p>\n<p>From the Kansas City Chiefs being eliminated from the playoffs to the New England Patriots winning 11 games, things were crazy this year.<\/p>\n<div data-source-unit=\"Inline Newsletter Module Sport\">\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/12\/dak-prescott-4-dallas-cowboys-1046169309.jpg?w=960\" alt=\"Dallas Cowboys v Denver Broncos - NFL 2025\" \/><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p>With just how wild the NFL season has been this year, we wanted to take a look at the league as a whole and rank the teams.<\/p>\n<p>At the top, of course, is teams like the Los Angeles Rans, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n<p>These are teams that have established themselves as the best of the best this year, and are almost guaranteed a playoff berth.<\/p>\n<p>Below them are teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>These are a few teams that might not be at the top of their pack in their respective conferences, but are still fighting hard and will likely make the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Many of these teams also have stellar defensive units.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest shocks of the season is just how far down the board teams like the Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys fall.<\/p>\n<p>In our rankings, the Cowboys come in at No. 18 while the Chiefs fell all the way to No. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Chiefs and the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>At the bottom of our list are the kinds of teams you would expect.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Jets, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, and Las Vegas Raiders all fall to the bottom of the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>They will be picking at the top of the NFL Draft in 2026.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15663446\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE clock is about to run out on the 2025 NFL season, and things certainly didn\u2019t go as expected.
