They carry a tone of a superstar player that is disgruntled and does not want to commit long-term to the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>In the defense of the Bengals, they do win games for the most part when Burrow himself can actually stay healthy. The Bengals are are 41-32-1 in games where Burrow starts.<\/p>\n<p>As trade rumors continue to swirl, a new report has come out. Consider his report from December 20th:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Long before the\u00a0Dolphins\u00a0benched\u00a0Tua Tagovailoa\u00a0and turned to rookie\u00a0Quinn Ewers, they made a push to land the quarterback they\u2019ll face Sunday \u2014\u00a0Joe Burrow.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Before the 2020 NFL draft, the Dolphins offered the\u00a0Bengals four first-round picks in exchange for the No. 1 selection and the ability to draft Burrow, league sources told ESPN<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Bengals declined to even engage in discussions and shut down the trade inquiry before it could gain any traction, according to sources.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Cincinnati Bengals declined the massive trade offer. Four first round picks is franchise-changing. However, so was the acquisition of Joe Burrow. He has been relegated to the emergency QB for Miami on Sunday against the Bengals.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Schefter also reports that the Dolphins are preparing to move the quarterback this off-season. Schefter explained it would be very complicated for Miami to pull off.<\/p>\n<p>He likens it to the Houston Texans\u2018 trading away of Brock Osweiler in 2017.
