Chiefs-Cowboys first half recap:<\/h2>\n

Patrick Mahomes threw two first-quarter touchdown passes, but the Chiefs trail the Dallas Cowboys 17-14 at halftime on Thanksgiving Day.<\/p>\n

Mahomes is 9 of 12 for 89 yards and two scores, connecting with Rice from 27 yards out and Travis Kelce on a 2-yard strike.<\/p>\n

Hunt has 45 rushing yards, and the Chiefs have 90 yards on the ground overall.<\/p>\n

Dallas answered with a long scoring drive capped Prescott\u2019s 15-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb, then took the lead late in the second quarter when Malik Davis broke free for a 43-yard scoring run. Prescott has 160 yards passing with one TD and one interception, picked off by Watson in the first quarter.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys outgained Kansas City 224-169 in the first half and converted 5 of 8 third-down attempts.<\/p>\n

0:37 – Simmons is called for his second holding penalty in a crucial moment, knocking Kansas City out of Butker’s range.<\/p>\n

3:10 – Malik Davis\u2019 43-yard touchdown gives Dallas its first lead of the game. It caps an eight-play, 85-yard drive that included multiple third-down conversions. Dallas is approaching 250 yards of total offense in the first half.<\/p>\n
