XAVIER WORTHY is an injury worry for the Chiefs after an ankle injury limited his practice.<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old was added to the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u2018 injury report on Thursday, according to the NFL Network.<\/p>\n

He was listed as limited in their practice session ahead of their trip to the Broncos, having previously suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the season.<\/p>\n
The shoulder blow caused him to miss a number of weeks and he has now suffered another setback.<\/p>\n
Coach\u00a0Andy Reid\u00a0confirmed Worthy tweaked his ankle in Thursday\u2019s practice ahead of their game against Denver on Sunday.<\/p>\n
But he claimed the wide receiver \u201cdid everything\u201d in Friday\u2019s session and said he was \u201cgood to go\u201d for the Denver game.<\/p>\n
He has caught 24 passes for 256 yards in seven NFL games this season, while rushing seven times for 73 yards.<\/p>\n
His shoulder injury came after being hit by team-mate Travic Kelce and went on to miss the first two games of the season.<\/p>\n
But he then made up for lost time registering 11 receptions for 125 yards and 47 yards on the ground in his first two games back.<\/p>\n
But he has been less involved in the offense in recent weeks and Reid was asked about his situation ahead of the Chiefs\u2019 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWell, we try to get them all involved the best we can and some games you\u2019re going to have that where they\u2019re taking somebody away. That\u2019s how it goes.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s how the coverage goes, that how the play call goes and so on,\u201d Reid said earlier this week.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not down on\u00a0Xavier Worthy\u00a0\u2013 we know he\u2019s a good player and we like to get the ball into good players\u2019 hands the best way we can. It just hasn\u2019t rolled that way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Other players on the Chiefs\u2019 injury list are defensive end George Karlafitis, who has a thumb injury and running back\u00a0Isiah Pacheco\u00a0with a knee injury.<\/p>\n
Chiefs also have injury worries over Trey Smith, Josh Simmons, Jawaan Taylor, Charles Omenihu and Jaden Hicks.<\/p>\n
The team will be eager to bounce back after their disappointing loss to rivals the Bills.<\/p>\n
Patrick Mahomes\u2018 team were overcome as Josh Allen threw a touchdown pas and ran for two scores, while James Cook has 114 yards rushing.<\/p>\n
Mahomes was sacked on three occasions and had the worst completion percentage of his career so far.<\/p>\n
Reid took responsibility for the loss as he said: \u201cWe\u2019ve got to do a little better than that, obviously, when you\u2019re playing a good football team.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt starts with me doing my job better and giving our guys an opportunity and put them in good positions where they can make some plays.<\/p>\n
