There won\u2019t be a Texans game for Jadeveon Clowney this fall, but the Lone Star State will once again see him in action:<\/p>\n

According to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, the NFC East franchise has signed three-time Pro Bowl edge rusher and former Houston Texans No. 1 overall pick to a one-year contract. The news broke following Sunday\u2019s overtime win over the New York Giants.<\/p>\n

Clowney, one of three No. 1 overall picks in Texans\u2019 franchise history, was released by the Carolina Panthers on May 8 after just one season of a two-year contract he signed with them in 2023. He previously visited Dallas earler in the week by never signed a contract.<\/p>\n

In Houston, Clowney totaled 205 tackles, 64 tackles for loss, 67 quarterback hits, 29 sacks and three interceptions.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
