The head coach compared Turpin to superstar CeeDee Lamb with some comments that will get Cowboys Nation hyped.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" data-mm-id=\"_y4qawmbfb\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images2.minutemediacdn.com\/image\/upload\/f_auto,q_auto,g_auto\/images\/ImagnImages\/mmsport\/cowboys_country\/01k2798w305tzpqqy3wm.jpg\" alt=\"Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVontae Turpin makes a catch during training camp at the River Ridge Playing Fields in Oxnard\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p data-mm-id=\"_iulz0z1m5\">\u201cThe guy is just a dynamic weapon,&#8221; Schottenheimer said of Turpin\u00a0via Jon Machota at the Athletic. \u201cThe things he can do running and catching and the quickness and agility that he has is just different. I feel like we got a much better sense for how we\u2019re using him.<\/p>\n<p data-mm-id=\"_1kjbc9l2w\">&#8220;Late in practice we kind of moved CeeDee outside and Turp went inside. Those guys are a little bit interchangeable. I think he\u2019s going to have a fabulous year. I really do, in every facet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-mm-id=\"_aijs6vbdw\">If Turpin can have that kind of impact, paired with the addition of George Pickens on the outside, it will be exciting to see what the Cowboys offense is capable of.<\/p>\n<p data-mm-id=\"_myxdxfceb\">Last season, Turpin returned 27 kicks for 904 yards and one touchdown, while adding 187 yards and one touchdown on 18 punt returns.
