Dallas Cowboys head coach\u00a0Brian Schottenheimer\u00a0was called out by one analyst over how he wore his sunvisor during a practice game with the team, and he had the perfect way to acknowledge it and clap back at the same time.<\/p>\n

In a recent\u00a0video, analyst Colin Cowherd called out Brian Schottenheimer for how he wore his hat during a practice event, which he described as something unbecoming of a head coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know I don\u2019t like backwards hats,\u201d Cowherd said on his show. \u201cWhat\u2019s worse is a backward visor. That\u2019s a two-win team. I\u2019m taking away four wins.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you sit in front of a podium, you\u2019re representing the Cowboys; you\u2019re representing the Bank of America; you\u2019re representing a $12 billion corporation. I think you\u2019ve got to do better as a head coach than a visor backwards,\u201d he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Schottenheimer\u00a0apparently caught Cowherd\u2019s comments within his radar, and gave a subtle jab towards the analyst who poked fun at how he wore his hat. As he took the podium during the Cowboys and Ras joint practice, he made it known that he may be a fan of Cowherd and his commentary.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, Cowherd,\u201d he said. \u201cLet me turn my hat around.\u201d He did turn it around, but turned it back again to backward after having a moment of laughter.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The analyst, in the same fashion, apparently watched the monet and responded to it. On social media, Cowherd acknowledged the gesture from the head coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cAppreciate the professionalism,\u201d He wrote on his post.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brian Schottenheimer Shared Joe Milton Injury Update<\/h2>\n

The\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0had to pause quarterback Joe Milton\u2019s participation in Tuesday\u2019s practice after the second-year signal-caller left the field early, nursing what appeared to be a thumb injury sustained while throwing. Milton did not return to the session, briefly raising concerns about his availability as Dallas continues to sort out its quarterback hierarchy during training camp. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer shared fresh details and updated on his status.<\/p>\n

Schottenheimer later described Milton\u2019s exit as purely precautionary, noting that the quarterback simply caught his hand on a teammate\u2019s helmet. Schottenheimer emphasized that the staff \u201cfeels really good about it,\u201d and that Milton himself believed he could have rejoined the drill if needed.<\/p>\n

Milton enters the summer competing directly with Will Grier for the Cowboys\u2019 backup quarterback spot, and his physical tools have drawn attention despite some consistency questions in his accuracy.
